Acorn has a highly experienced fund management team who work in conjunction with people who have specific knowledge of an investment type to provide focussed funds.
Generally, our focussed funds are structured as limited partnerships to provide optimum tax efficiency for investors. Acorn operates a unit trust in conjunction with each limited partnership, which allows pension funds (SIPP and SSAS) to also invest in the fund.
These unregulated collective investment schemes typically:

- Spread the risk of investments
- Are tax efficient
- Are suitable for individuals (high net worth and sophisticated investors)
- Are suitable for pension funds (SIPP and SSAS)
- Have a life span of between 5 and 10 years
- Have a minimum subscription of around GBP 15,000 to GBP 25,000
