*ian templeton FCA* - chief executive** A founder of Acorn, Ian was also a founding Partner of the Manchester and Liverpool firm of BDO Stoy Hayward, resigning in June 2000 to establish Acorn. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, insolvency and corporate restructuring. Ian shares his experience and expertise with a number of Acorn investee companies as a board member.
*graham norfolk ACA BA* – director** A founder of Acorn, Graham has many years experience in advising on management buy outs, development capital, corporate acquisitions and mergers and public company transactions. Graham sits on the Board of a number of quoted and private companies and is Acorn’s Financial Services Compliance Officer.
*harry dutson MSc* – director** With a masters degree from London Business School, Harry has over 25 years experience in the funding and support of new companies. Initially working as a venture capitalist at British Technology Group, he then joined Ferranti International plc where he ran a Corporate Venturing Fund and became Group Business Planning Manager. Now a Director of Acorn, he is the corporate finance adviser to several companies, assisting in their fundraising, corporate development and flotation on PLUS.
charles moray Charles has over 35 years experience in capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate finance advice in the UK, Europe and the USA. After joining S G Warburg & Co Ltd in 1968, Charles spent 25 years between London, Paris and New York with First Boston Corporation and then Merrill Lynch before co-founding a boutique corporate finance firm in Paris with offices in Geneva. He returned to London in 2000 to work on corporate finance and private equity transactions.
lisa pedersen BA – investment communication executive A graduate in Modern Language Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, Lisa is a proactive customer services professional who has developed her skills over a number of years within the telecommunications and travel and tourism industries. Lisa co-ordinates our fundraisings and communications with investors, manages our database and website and administers our funds.
